I like this trend alot because it appropriates something we tend to deem fairly dowdy and unfashion like. However with proper styling (i.e. heels and a funky necklace) really make the outfit standout from the more traditionally well dressed specimens.

Prints are inspiring to me. I will always have the staple of basic wear in my closet but patterns add a certain pop to an outfit that is harder to acheive with solids.

The fall is coming and although I'm NOT a fan of the impending cold weather I am excited about layering, patterns, and a bit more flexibility in terms of overall fashion. Although there are many styles I'm hoping to get a chance to try I think cords are one that will be a staple. Comfy and versatile make them attractive to me. They're a nice alternative to jeans and not as formal as pants.
