What In Wore: 12.23

Been awhile since I've posted an outfit. Well here it is. I decided that I was due for a nice plaid shirt so I picked this up at Walmart of all places. I've come to a point where being a snob about where my clothes come from doesn't serve me any good so when I come across something I like I just get it. And hell this shirt was 10 bucks, wasn't previously worn by a crusty old man and is super versatile.

Loving this tomboy meets business look I've got going on right now. I'm not sure if it's a mood thing but I've been digging comfort recently. Anything that causes me a lot of fuss is not something I'm trying to be about.

***What I Wore 10.4: Boyfriend's Back***

Wasn't feeling facially cute today so I cut my head off. Don't judge me. Anyway, the main point is the jeans. I've been a sucker for boyfriend jeans for a while and have never actually found a pair that suited my shape. Alas, I typically just sat and sighed in jealous admiration of others pulling it off in their own looks.  Finally, I've found my pair to call my very own and I am pleased. I paired it with pumps and a toned down body-con dressed turned top. What ya think?

I like this trend alot because it appropriates something we tend to deem fairly dowdy and unfashion like. However with proper styling (i.e. heels and a funky necklace) really make the outfit standout from the more traditionally well dressed specimens.

***What I Wore: 9.20 Sweatshirt Style***

Ahh I love this whole sweatshirt trend. Gives me a chance to switch up the sweater game a lil bit. Also, excuse my little bout of filter disease. I just felt that polaroid fever!

***What I Wore: 9.6*** / FNO

First just FYI I've worn this polka dot blouse about 8 times since I bought it. Second, I've just participated in my second FNO ever! Last year I went solo and this year with friends. Both have their pros and cons but I enjoyed each experience a lot. Of course there were free drinks, great DJs, and just an overall fun atmosphere to the evening. Looking forward to it next year heyyyy.

So this weekend has been pretty cray. Can I still say "cray" or has that gone the way of the phrase "winning". Anywho, this weekend has been really cool. From cliff jumping to Afropunk, I've been all around. Can't wait to settle down a bit and post more pictures of my shenanigans. 

***What I Wore 1.21.2012:James Tee***

tee: James Perse ; jacket: H&M

Purchased this James Perse tee on a discount and have been getting good use out of them. They are comfortable and versatile and I like pairing them with jeans. I haven't put them through the ringer yet so we'll see if the perfectly slouchy quality holds up. If not then that's a damn shame cause it's fairly expensive full price.
